Hello, and welcome! I'm so glad that you're here. As a life-long Georgia resident, it has always been my dream to found a practice in my home state, and provide quality, compassionate, and affirming care to the individuals who are in need of it.
I am a 2007 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2011, I graduated from Mercer University's School of Medicine Master of Family Therapy program. I am licensed in the state of Georgia as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am a member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) and The Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (GAMFT).
I am passionate about supporting and assisting clients as they embrace self exploration, learn and practice deep self compassion and patience, and create healthy interpersonal relationships, as I believe these are the keys to our mental and emotional wellness. We all have the ability to make positive, healthy changes at any stage of life; and these can be facilitated through mindfulness, shifting perspectives, and understanding and setting personal boundaries in acts of self love and validation.
I am a devoted ally of LGBTQAI+ and BIPOC individuals, couples, and families. I am sex-positive, trans-affirming, body and fat-positive, and have experience in working with polyamorous individuals and couples.
I look forward to hearing from you, and look forward to helping you set and achieve your goals for healing and growth!
